Though she feels like a native New Yorker, Alexis was born in South America and raised on Miami Beach. She built her career in a variety of industries, including cellular communications, computers and healthcare, where she held various executive-level positions. While working in corporate America she also pursued her real estate aspirations, purchasing several properties, including a condop in Manhattan.

In addition to her professional experience, Alexis’ academic credentials include an MBA and an MS in eCommerce. In addition to English, Alexis also speaks Spanish, French and some Italian.

Of her approach to real estate, Alexis says, “I pride myself on providing excellent service to both buyers and sellers. As a real estate investor myself, I understand what factors are important when making a decision. This allows me to put myself in my clients' shoes and offer the best guidance possible. Unlike other brokers who rent their home and don't own any investment properties, I believe in what I do and practice what I preach!”

Beyond real estate, Alexis is passionate about travel, fine arts, movies, reading, cooking, growing orchids and her “fids” (feathered and furry kids), Suki, Teddy and Peanut. She is active in various animal organizations and serves as a "foster mother" of rescued dogs while they find a "forever" home. Finally, Alexis is an adventure seeker whose exploits have included skydiving from 10,000 feet, whitewater rafting and swinging from trees 100 feet above the Costa Rican rain forest.
